i have heard of ann voskamp through the grapevine. but after the relevant 10 conference everyone was raving about ann and her beautiful words of encouragement. and i thought, i like encouragement. so i went to her site. and i've gone there every single day since then. i recommend you do the same. you won't be disappointed.

3.  this quote from the coopster...

"mommy when i get as big as daddy i'll be able to reach the sky"

i love the way she sees her daddy.

he's big.

he's strong.

she wants to be just like him.

4. journaling...

i am writing more and more. i write everything down. quotes i read. things the kiddos say. things that i am thankful for. sweet reminders from scripture and friends. i keep my journal on the end table at all times so that it is available when i need it.  i write because i cannot trust my mind to remember.
